Game developer and publisher Square Enix plans to develop story-focused NFT games. Head of the company Yosuke Matsuda stressed that it is too early to consider making Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games on blockchain. Although Square Enix continues to incorporate blockchain technology into game development, the president of the corporation said that the revenue will be used to strengthen the company’s core game business.

It allows users to transfer assets between the main Ethereum network and the sidechain. Sky Mavis announced Tuesday that after three checks (one internal, two external), full compensation for stolen user assets, and a design update, the Ronin bridge is back up and running.

World of Women will collaborate with Hasbro and WS Game Company. They plan to create a digital version of the game “Monopoly”. This will include illustrations from the WoW Galaxy NFT collection. To achieve exclusivity, a restriction will be introduced. Monopoly will only be available to World of Women and World of Women Galaxy holders. Production and distribution of limited edition game will be done by WS Game Company. It will be sold as NFT, which can be exchanged for the physical version of the board game.

Actor Kevin Hart and his media company HARTBEAT Media are launching a special edition on Roku, a collection of NFTs and a curated cryptocurrency wallet. The TV special will premiere on Kevin’s birthday, July 6. The show will be a 30-minute animated anthology based on Hart’s popular IGTV series of the same name. And it will be called Confessions from the Hart. The first NFT collection will feature images of the actor himself and characters from his animated special. Owners of NFT Confessions from the Hart will have access to Hart’s IRL and metaverse events, including tickets to his upcoming comedy tour. Sales of the collection will begin July 7.
